Our Mission
The Visible College is committed to providing an inclusive space for all reasonable paths, to be able to hire venues and co-ordinate celebrations without fear of being mischaracterised or refused service. Here you can proudly state your name and business, and find a home for your practice.
Space for All
For years we’ve all been involved with groups having to book under assumed names, or pass off activities as ‘meditation class’ or ‘mind-body-spirit’. Our vision is to be a home for all paths, whether you want to dance skyclad through the festival site, or raise a Temple in the event space.
Be yourself and let us support you to make the best possible events.
-
One day, when the Coach House is restored, we hope to welcome practitioners of all paths to the College.
Imagine a reception area where you can enquire about the next classes in Tarot or Chaos Magick, and take the stairs or a lift to an ecological and historical information hub where you can learn about the site as it was and its steps into the future.
Downstairs in the seminar room our academic colleague is hosting a writing workshop, and the studios next door are busy with artists in residence preparing for an exhibition in the Events Space.
Upstairs two groups are hotdesking in the office suite, and our virtual PA is taking calls and answering emails for five different groups who are slowly growing and using TVC as a postal address.
Along the corridor two studious practitioners are in their retreat dormitories, being supplied with food and incense and enough paper and charcoal to cover the walls in eldritch drawings.
Wouldn’t you like to be part of it?
-
TVC is comprised of practitioners and academics from a variety of backgrounds and practices, who have worked across disciplines within the occult and esoteric community. You can’t scare us!
All groups wishing to hire the venue will be able to do so without judgement, as long as the group is not a proscribed organisation and displays tolerance and acceptance of other paths.
Those hiring any part of the site for any event must adhere to reasonable expectations of behaviour towards others on the site and in any online activity associated with TVC; a copy of our guidelines will be included with hire quotations and will need to be signed before booking is confirmed.

The Visible College is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our members and the groups who visit or hire our site, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
Our aim is for TVC to be truly representative of all sections of society and our practitioners, and for each group to feel respected and able to practise freely.
TVC – in providing services and facilities – is also committed against unlawful discrimination of groups hiring the spaces, or the public.
